
Everyone at some point in time gets blocked energy in their body. In this blog post we discuss two quick ways to release blocked energy and raise your vibe immediately! Yes, it is possible to raise your vibe and feel good immediately!
The Build Up: Why is there blocked energy?
It happens from being stressed. From going through grief. Being angry. From an illness or injury. Eating unhealthy foods. Being around negative people. Holding emotions inside and not letting them fly. Energy gets blocked all kinds of different ways. Energy blockage just happens because we are human and we ARE energy. And our bodies get clogged with stale energy. In order to stay healthy and have a proper energy flow in your body, you must keep the pathways clear! If you do not clear that energy, there is a good chance that illness will form or get worse. You can become depressed or could gain/lose weight. Become foggy in your thinking. Lose energy and be sleepy often. Basically, you can develop all kinds of issues if you don’t get rid of that trapped energy.
We Do Not Want Trapped Energy
The quickest and easiest way to release that blocked energy is by … MOVING YOUR BODY! A quick way to do this is to move your hips in a figure eight shape. That movement allows for energy that has gathered and gotten stuck to be able to be released. I’m going to share the two body movements that work great for me.
EXERCISE
Exercise is one way to move your body. There are some exercises that are more strenuous on your body than others. You don’t want to hurt yourself to release this blocked energy. You just want to create movement so it breaks up stale/stuck energy and in turn creates space for energy to flow properly. If you haven’t exercised in a while, perhaps a brisk walk or some light yoga moves would get the energy flowing for you. If you have more experience working out or you’re on more of an exercise routine, then maybe some time on an exercise machine or using other exercise equipment would work better for you. Or possibly the full on workout routine works best for you – sit-ups, push-ups, lunges, lifting weights, leg lifts, etc, etc!
There are so many ways to exercise.
The main thing here is to get your body moving so your energy can release. That may mean just throw your hands up over your head and wave your arms back and forth or twisting at your torso a little. Get your heart beating. Sweat. Move. It’s not about how many reps or how long you can keep it going. And it’s certainly NOT about pain. It’s about movement and the INTENTION of releasing blocked/stuck/yucky energy so you can feel lighter and refreshed.
DANCE
Dancing is another way to almost immediately release pent-up/blocked energy and increase your vibration. In my experience, you can’t be mad or angry or in negative energy AND be dancing! It’s an automatic switch that turns on feeling good. It raises the levels of the “feel-good” hormone serotonin. The combination of music with dance is an instant uplift.
It has been said that dancing may slow down aging, reduce risk of dementia, improve muscle memory, boosts memory and many other beneficial things. Now, I do not know about the science behind dancing but I do know that I have felt yucky energy leaving my body as I’m dancing and “feeling” music. It may not get rid of all the blocked energy in your body. But it surely is a great start. And dancing regularly (along with eating properly and living a healthy lifestyle) can help keep the flow of energy in your body moving properly even when you’re not dancing.
It’s okay if you don’t usually dance.
If you’re not used to dancing or you don’t dance in front of anyone, that is perfectly fine–you can still do this. Put some music on that you love, close your eyes, move your body to the music. Feel the music. Fine tune your body to the music. Don’t worry about what you look like. Forget about what people think. Just let your body move. Nothing strenuous. You don’t want to hurt yourself. Just like with exercise, it’s about movement and the INTENTION of releasing blocked energy so you can feel lighter. AND…have fun! Dancing is fun! Fun = light energy 🙂
There are other energy-moving techniques in order to release blocked energy in the body and raise your vibe. Quigong and Tai Chi are two powerful others.
